Automotive Manufacturing /
Distribution
In conjunction with Wherenet (www.wherenet.com)
and SkyBitz (www.skybitz.com),
CME is working to solve the needs of a Fortune 1000 automotive
manufacturer. The challenge is to track vehicles from the moment they
roll off the assembly line, through the shipping yard, and throughout
distribution at car lots everywhere in the United States. CME’s
AdaptLink application provides the capabilities to seamlessly track
goods within a yard with Wherenet’s RTLS solution and to effortlessly
switch to SkyBitz’s GLS tracking network as needed. The joint solution,
believed to be the first of its kind, will finally deliver true,
up-to-the-minute visibility for every vehicle, wherever it is located. |
Warehousing and Inventory Management
CME worked with a name-brand Fortune 5000 retailer
to pilot a innovative warehousing and inventory management solution that
tracked goods from the loading dock, through distribution, and at the
retail shelf. A video demonstration of the software developed can be
